National Night Out 2008 Photo with the Mayor

East steps of City Hall, 200 N. Walker Ave.

Join us for the annual National Night Out photo with Mayor Cornett, City Council, Target volunteers, neighborhood residents and our local heroes- the police and fire departments! We will meet on the east steps of City Hall for a group photo and then we will go to the City Council meeting to hear Mayor Cornett read the National Night Out Proclamation. If you will attend, please call Neighborhood Alliance at 528-6322. The neighborhood with the most residents in attendance gets a prize!

City-wide

It is time to start planning your neighborhood's National Night Out event! National Night Out is a nation-wide event designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anticrime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. Target is the national sponsor of National Night Out and will be providing local volunteers for neighborhood events. Thanks, Target! NNO planning packets are available here! Legal Issues for Homeowners Associations

Hear attorney Matthew L. Winton discuss the legal ins and outs of homeowners associations. Topics will include assessments, covenants, board function and operation and governing documents. There will also be time for a question and answer session. Light supper will be served.
